It's a project that has been gradually gaining momentum since attending my first market in December 2009. Since then I have attended a variety of markets in the Wollongong area and began building a facebook presence until moving to Melbourne in October 2012. I've started attending Melbourne markets in 2013 and hosted my first Pop Up Shop for two weeks in June. The aim of the business is to provide
ethical, environmentally and socially sustainable clothing and accessories at an affordable price. It values quality over quantity, style over trends, slow over fast fashion and, most importantly, the planet and its inhabitants over profit. Zeffie stocks a variety of products including hand-made, hand-dyed, recycled, artist designed, environmentally friendly, organic and fair-trade clothing, accessories, reusable cloth pads and craft items from across the globe. It is also my goal to launch my own label which will feature my own designs and will hopefully be made locally from organic, recycled and sustainable materials.
