Let them pick a kit shape, the paint the Brushes, glitters textures and just… let it be.

During our creative session this Tuesday we started just playing with a balloon.
To feel at ease, with the space, with each other, with me.

And then we started cutting shapes. And talking.
And some words felt sharper than others.

“I hate art classes at school.”

“I am mad but the School has expectations.”

“I feel shy when I talk to you, but I don’t know why.”

Seven/Eight years old.

And I just wonder…when and why did we start drawing lines they didn’t choose and putting them into shapes that aren’t theirs?

Then I looked at them at the end and I can see them release, everything.

This is what our kids need.

And everything I do makes sense again and again and again ! 🌈 ☁️ ☀️
