Headed out further West … North West to today. Roads are a little rougher if you trust Google maps you will end up on these dirt roads😅 We did come across a few Roos, a pair of frill neck lizards and an echidna. A few crazy farmer drivers not expecting to see us gave us a bit of a scare 😅😅 We will be heading back this way in November for in-home post mastectomy visits - so get in touch if you are or will be around the area - especially if you’re doing a lap of this beautiful country xx

Early detection can make a difference. Know what is normal for you, get in the habit of checking regularly. I do my check on the 1st every month when I have my shower. If you notice anything different, get in touch with a doctor. Trust your instincts.

Surgeons often recommend a front-opening cotton bra after a mastectomy because it supports healing while making dressing much easier during recovery. The exact recommendation can vary depending on the type of surgery and your surgeon’s instructions, but the benefits generally include:

* Easy to put on and take off, gentle on healing tissue - Cotton is soft, breathable, and less likely to irritate sensitive skin or surgical incisions. Reduces moisture and heat - Cotton helps absorb perspiration and allows air to circulate, which can improve comfort and help keep the incision area dry.
* Provides light, even support, comfort for drains - surgical drains are in place, a front-opening bra is often easier to manage and may interfere less with the tubing. Accommodates swelling, post-surgical bras have adjustable front closures and soft, stretchy fabrics to allow for changes in swelling during recovery.

You know what I love about what I do … yes it is bringing the service to small deserving towns. But when work is done - I like to go see what is on offer in these quaint little towns out west. Today started off very foggy so it was a slow drive … which I enjoyed. But finding a gem like this in the coffee, food and service were amazing! The shop itself is massive - room for a family gathering. Thank you for the hospitality- wish I could’ve taken the water feature home😍😍 See you next time!

Time for some pretty padded bras from What I love about a padded bra is that it gives you a beautiful smooth, symmetrical look. Sometimes after surgery there are some little imperfections that only you know about, but it’s a niggling annoying little feeling that won’t go away, wearing a padded bra covers those little imperfections, giving back a little bit of confidence 🩷🎀🎗️The pockets hold your breast form in there beautifully
