A little story about Robert Redford, Patrick, and a pair of red socks… 🧦❤️

For years, we’ve heard rumours that the legendary actor was a fan of our socks. A couple of weeks ago, Patrick called ABC Canberra Breakfast and shared this wonderful story of how he introduced the screen legend to our socks.

So Patrick, thank you for putting a pair of Lindner Socks on the feet of the Sundance Kid! We’re rather chuffed to think that our socks made their way to one of Hollywood’s most iconic actors. 🎬

To be named a Finalist for the second year running is a massive honour, and a reflection of our incredible team behind the scenes.

The Awards attracted entries from manufacturers across Australia and celebrate the breadth, diversity and excellence of Australian manufacturing. To be recognised on a national stage – and to share in that recognition alongside fellow Crookwell local Brian Blowes from BAB Aluminium Pty Ltd – makes it even more special.

A huge thank you to the organisers Industry Update Media P/L, the judging panel, and sponsors CeMAT AUSTRALIA and Applied Machinery for making the Awards possible. Knitted on modern knitting machines at our Crookwell factory, each has been designed with a different kind of everyday comfort in mind - from a beautiful merino wool and silk blend, to lightweight cotton, and breathable merino wool.

All styles feature a seamless toe for added comfort, reinforced pressure points for added durability, and the Lindner logo knitted into the sole of the sock as a mark of craftsmanship and authenticity. They include:
