Winter has officially arrived, and Crookwell is already turning on those crisp country mornings we know and love. ❄️🐑

With frosty paddocks, rolling green hills, and plenty of fresh country air, there’s no better time to explore the beautiful Southern Tablelands region.

Whether you’re planning a cosy weekend away, chasing a hearty pub meal, browsing local shops, or simply enjoying the scenery, there’s plenty to discover across Crookwell and our surrounding towns and villages. And if you’re lucky, you might even catch a little snowfall. 🌨️

From early hand-cranked single cylinder machines to the vintage 1960s and '70s double cylinder machines we still use today, this technology has stood the test of time.

These traditional machines allow us to knit a true rib sock, including options for a comfortable loose-top style without elastic.
