Bindaring's sixty years of fund-raising is a proud milestone. So it's a thrill for us to share a little about one of our volunteers who have helped shape us into the fabulous team we are today. Volunteering for 58 years, Rosie Ainsley always arrives at Bindaring smiling, quick to share a few laughs, and gets on with anything needing to be done. Rosie epitomises the heart & soul of Bindaring. Pop down to Bindaring on Saturday 20th May and meet Rosie. Thankyou to those who still check in to my “other” page! You will see it has not been in use for a very long time. I am now a Volunteeer for Bindaring in the role as Donations Co-ordinator. A fabulous cause with even more fabulous people. We are always in need of Volunteers and Donations. Ladies,Mens and Kids- clothing,footwear and accessories. Our prices start at about $3 and go up from there. If you can help out as a volunteer or a donor, please let me know. 👗👠🎩

This Sunday! 👕👔🩳👗👠🧢

The community response to all those affected by the recent Wooroloo & Hills bushfires has been overwhelming.

The Royal Agricultural Society of WA would like to extend our gratitude to everyone who dropped donations at the Showground last week. The support & generosity demonstrated not only by those who donated, but by a committed group of volunteers who have given their time to sort through the donations has been remarkable. As a result, families who were directly impacted by the fires have already received much needed goods through RASWA. Their thanks and gratitude have been incredibly heartening.

Given the significant amount of items remaining, RASWA is holding a “Bushfire Warehouse Sale” which will be open to the public on Sunday, 21st February from 10am till 2pm in the Jim Webster Pavilion at the Claremont Showground, free entry & car parking through Gate 1. A huge range of pre-loved, books, toys, games, clothing and items of furniture will be available for purchase at incredibly low prices.

100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Lord Mayor’s Disaster Relief Fund 2021 which will provide ongoing financial support to those directly affected by the fires.
