So grateful and blessed to have been trusted with the first dance steps of so many adorable tiny dancers. I love receiving updates of their dance journey. They have such a huge piece of my heart 💕 I still remember not being able to hold back the tears saying goodbye to this one! I’m so so proud of you Miss I! Look how brave you continue to be as you shine on that stage 💕

When I want to smile, I know exactly what to do, I just close my eyes and I think of my time spent with my tiny dancers!

You are always in my thoughts and hold such a special place in my heart...This time of year would normally have us preparing for our super sweet concert, but instead I’ve been blessed to receive pictures and videos from my beautiful families of their dancers current journey 💞 These moments fill me with so much joy! These pictures are of one of my ballerinas in her first concert with me, saying goodbye to me and her concert two years later! So so grateful to have been a part of your dance journey miss I xx

To my wonderful Tiptoes Dance families
7 years ago I opened Tiptoes Dance as a request from a few local mums and the generous offer from a friend to hire her martial arts space. To be honest, I wasn’t sure I was going to be able to bring Tiptoes to life. This was due to my own insecurities and a few friends scoffing at the idea. Thankfully my family whole heartedly believed in me and gave me a not so gentle nudge to make it happen. Tiptoes opened within two weeks of me agreeing to give it ago. The concept of Tiptoes was to bring the joy of dance to children in a safe, nurturing space where they could develop not only their love of dance, but also grow socially and emotionally. It was to be affordable so that all children were given the chance to dance. I must have been doing something right because it all just continued to grow and within a few years I was able to provide my own pretty little dance studio for my tiny dancers. I have been so blessed that I have only ever had positive experiences during this time with the main feedback I’ve received being the confidence my tiny dancers have developed during their time with me. That in itself, makes me feel like my little school has been a huge success. All of my classes were prepared with so much love and I cannot even express how thankful I am for sharing these years with so many wonderful families. I’m sure you all know how much I have adored working with your children and how quickly they stole a piece of my heart. So as you can all imagine it is with a deeply heavy heart that I have to inform you all that Tiptoes Dance will be closing it’s doors effective immediately. There are a number of reasons why with Covid-19 being a huge factor.
As you can all imagine this breaks my heart and not a decision that was made lightly. It has been a beautiful journey and I thank each and every one of you for twirling into my life and entrusting me with your child’s first dancing steps, for that I feel honoured and I am truly humbled by the love and support I have received from all of my wonderful Tiptoes families throughout the past 6 years.

As we leap into 2021, I’d like to thank all of the Tiptoes Dance families for your support throughout this crazy year. I am so grateful and blessed to have had you all dance into my life. As tumultuous as this year has been, I couldn’t have imagined navigating my way through without the support of you wonderful people. I’m so thankful that we managed to finish our year in the studio twirling and laughing together. I look forward to what 2021 brings (challenges and all) because we have shown we can make it through. I wish you all a 2021 filled with love, laughter, good health and prosperity 💕
