SHOCKING - Jacinta Allan has just approved and sanctioned the aerial shooting of koalas in Budj Bim National Park.

According to the Department of Environment (DEECA), “extensive assessments” have been done to justify this brutal act — claiming there isn’t enough food in the park to sustain them.

If that’s the case, then why are blue gum plantations — the very places these koalas likely came from — still being harvested, leaving thousands displaced with nowhere to go?

Jacinta, how do you justify:

Allowing shooters to kill koalas indiscriminately from helicopters, without proper health assessments?
Not checking if these koalas are healthy, or if they are mothers carrying dependent joeys?
Calling this a “mercy killing” when it is anything but?

Health assessments cannot be done from 30 meters above the ground. This is not science, this is cruelty.

Under DEECA, our wildlife are not safe. These killings are unlawful, shrouded in secrecy, and only came to light after the fact. The public was never supposed to find out. And now the government is trying to rebrand it as a kind act? Despicable.

If the public is willing to believe this spin, the rest of our native wildlife is in deep, deep trouble.

We are moments away from a federal election. There must be accountability.
