Bloody hell swear word moment, when your comfortably paddling around the house in your socks and omg holly 🤬. If you know you know what I’m saying. Then hopping around looking for the bloody leatherman that’s been on the kitchen table for days to pull it out of your foot, but oh no of course you can’t find it 🫣🫣🫣🫣hmmm I’m thinking it came in on 🐾🐾🐾🐾

Went to our local swap meet this morning, I came home with 2 bags of beautiful fresh lemons.
🍋 so straight to the kitchen to make a batch of lemon verbena cordial and some salted preserved lemons 🍋

Sour dough baking is not for the inpatient by heart 😩it’s like when you’re a child and your mother keeps saying “ just wait “ on repeat 🫣😂. Right now I’m impatiently waiting for my just baked fruit loaf to cool so I can cut it and see if it’s eatable or going to hurled over the veranda for the wildlife .
Maree s startup loaf is my go to and hasn’t let me down yet 🧡🧡🧡

I’ve never done a same day bake before, fed my starter last night so decided go with the flow and mix my dough at 9 am this morning . I really had no idea what I as doing so just let the dough dictate the outcome.
Obviously the planets have aligned 🧡🧡🧡 baked at 4 pm .
