Help needed!

We are still working our way through boxes of Miss Daphne’s and Mr Gray’s clothing and we’ve just uncovered something special, Mr Gray’s pyjamas!

Still unopened. Still in their original packaging.

Now, we aren’t too sure what to do!

Do we carefully open, wash and iron them?

Or leave them untouched and find a new owner who can decide their story?

And tell us honestly, are there lovers of vintage sleepwear out there? Would you wear a 40–50 year old pyjama set?

We’d love to hear your thoughts.

Keep them as they are? Or wash and iron them before finding a new owner?

Hands up who remembers their mum wearing blouses like these in the 1980s!

We’re still slowly working our way through the beautiful collection that belonged to Miss Daphne, and every piece feels like opening a little time capsule, this time from the 1980s.

Soft, silky fabrics, subtle woven patterns, relaxed tailoring and those easy, elegant shapes that somehow worked for everything!

School pick ups, office days, Sunday lunches and special occasions alike.

These beauties are classic 80s through and through.

Effortless, feminine, and made to be worn again and again.

The kind of blouse that instantly makes you feel put together without even trying.

There’s something really special about giving these pieces a new life, knowing they’ve already been loved and lived in once before. We can just imagine the stories they could tell.

As the weather starts to cool down, Max has been having a lot of fun playing around with layers again.

We will start to bring out more of our winter skirts as the weather gets cooler but we couldn’t resist giving you a little sneak peek of this beautiful 1950s pleated skirt. (One of Miss Daphne’s)

It’s one of those classic pieces that just works. Easy to layer, easy to wear, and perfect with boots and a jacket as the mornings get colder.

This is just the beginning of lots of gorgeous winter pieces coming out soon and we can’t wait to share them with you.

Max: “I’m just popping in for a quick look.”

Also Max: Somehow leaving with three shirts, a jacket he absolutely didn’t need, and a “rare find” that apparently followed him home.

At this point we all know the truth.

Max doesn’t go vintage shopping. Vintage shopping happens to Max.

It starts with “I’ll just check the rack,” and ends with a full history lesson about labels, fabrics, and why this particular piece had to be saved.

But honestly, there are worse addictions than rescuing beautiful old clothes and giving them another life.

Vintage isn’t just shopping, it’s treasure hunting and Max never comes home empty handed.
