Flash back to retreat and my lovely friends and what we worked on

Cherie got acquainted with her overlocker and how to make a rolled hem, and was thrilled with her frill!
Elsie spent a lot of time loving on those around her and worked on a few small projects
Fiona become the pocket master and added pockets to several tops and dresses: the bigger the pocket, the better
Hester was a peaceful presence and worked tranquilly on her painting
And I worked on a two dresses, a wall hanging and some other quilting projects!

There are many reasons to love going on retreat, but these are mine:
1. To be among ladies that love sewing as much as I do
2. So that I can learn from those around me and they can learn from me.
3. So that I can be inspired to try new things.
