Christmas and New Years is the time for family, friends, love, celebration and holidays. But unfortunately some of us out there aren’t as lucky as others through the holiday season.

Depression and anxiety hugely impacts thousands of Australians each year and is a issue close to my heart. Over 65,000 Aussies make a su***de attempt each year and there’s been huge spike during the pandemic. A few facts;

- Eight Australians die every day by su***de. That’s more than double the road toll.

- 75% of those who take their own life are male.

- The su***de rate in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples is twice that of their non-Indigenous counterparts.

- For each life lost to su***de, the impacts are felt by up to 135 people, including family members, work colleagues, friends, first responders at the time of death.

- People in rural populations are 2 times more likely to die by su***de.

If you know someone who has been doing it tough throughout the pandemic, has been suffering from any mental illness or generally just needs a bit of a leg up, please message us on any of our social media pages, let us know a little about their story and we will be choosing someone to give a collection of our streetwear to. Along with some unreleased stuff as well.

It’s super important to always check on your mates Depression and anxiety has many faces and most of the time it’s affecting someone you would least expect.

Lastly, the support from the community in Forestville, Killarney and all of the Northern Beaches has been overwhelming. A huge Thankyou to everyone getting involved!! We are going to keep this going and continue to make the Northern Beaches proud ❤️
