This storybook is based on the teen novel, ‘The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time’ by Mark Haddon. The novel follows Christopher Boone, an autistic 15-year-old boy’s adventure to discover who killed his next door neighbours dog. The charcoal illustrations express the way Christopher is thinking and feeling. It represents his emotions, stress and anxiety.

Bunbukku Restaurant & Catering is a concept for a Japanese restaurant based in Melbourne inspired by Japanese maid cafes. Maid cafes are a subcategory of cosplay restaurants that are mostly found in Japan but are becoming increasingly popular in other parts of the world. Maid Cafes often have a fun interior and involve the staff dressing up in French maid outfits or as anime characters. The whole concept is very in innocent, cute and fun, thus I chose the colour of pink, as it best portrays the fun playful nature of this style of cosplay restaurant.

Factory farming is an important contemporary issue. There is growing awareness of how pigs are treated in the meat industry. This poster demonstrates a comparison between pigs and humans, and asks us to question our views about factory farming.
