The Kediya, traditionally.
A favourite from the Rabari collection, now restocked in white.

Worn here by Remy, the traditional Kediya silhouette comes to life through intricate hand embroidery and the skill of Rabari artisans.

A garment rooted in tradition, made slowly by hand and carried forward through generations.

With our stores and workshop space being our main focus these last few weeks, especially with Sufiyan Khatri joining us, we wanted to remind you that we’re always thinking about what’s next.

Over the past few months, three powerhouse women - Kalyani Prasad, Geeta Rabari and Gaelle from The ANJELMS Project, have been quietly working behind the scenes on our upcoming Spring Collection.

Inspired by the delicate beauty of dragonflies and the feeling of renewal that comes with spring, the collection brings together incredible Rabari stitchwork, natural fibres and the artistry of traditional craft.

A little sneak peek of what we’ve been creating. 🪻

Feeling incredibly grateful as we come to the end of Sufiyan and Rehan’s AJRAKH workshop.
Today we finished our final workshop after two wonderful weeks of learning, creating, sharing and connecting. The results have been incredible, but even more special have been the people and community around it all.

A huge thank you to Sufiyan and Rehan for generously sharing their knowledge, craft and passion with us.

Thank you to Hinata Cafe for feeding us and keeping us going! ❤️

Thank you to Trudi and Helena Pollard for hosting us so warmly and sharing your knowledge and community with us.

And thank you to Iota Carola Akindeleobe and Maggie Baxter for the wonderful conversations, ideas and connections.

Most of all, thank you to everyone who participated, helped, supported and contributed over these two weeks. We are so grateful for every person who made this experience what it was.

Two weeks we won’t forget.

Today is the last day of workshops!
Yesterday, we attempted the beautiful art of Ajrakh block printing — and what an incredible group of people to share the experience with. There was so much focus, curiosity and creativity throughout the process. 🧡

Here at the ANJELMS Project, we couldn’t be more grateful to everyone who has joined us for our workshops, talks and tours, and to all the wonderful customers who invest in ANJELMS products.

Your support, encouragement and feedback truly keep us going. Thank you for being part of the journey — we’re so grateful to have you with us.

As we prepare for the second week of workshops with master Ajrakh artisan Sufiyan Khatri, we're excited to welcome more people into this extraordinary experience.

Collaboration begins with connection.
At The Anjelms Project, we believe the most meaningful partnerships are built on mutual respect, shared learning, and a genuine appreciation for cultural knowledge.

These workshops are more than an opportunity to learn block printing and natural dyeing. They're an invitation to connect with a living textile tradition that has been carefully preserved through generations of the Khatri family. Through storytelling, demonstration, and hands-on making, you'll gain insight into the cultural significance behind every carved block and every layer of natural dye.

If you've been thinking about joining us, this second week is your chance to experience one of the world's oldest block printing traditions directly from a master artisan.

📍 The Anjelms Project, Fibonacci Centre, Fremantle
📅 Second week workshops: August 22–23
🎟 Limited places remain—book via the link in our bio.
