Do you see other people creating beautiful things, and think to yourself "oh, I wish I could do that"?

Well, I'm here to help you learn.

It's World Wide Knit In Public Day this Saturday, and I am going to be teaching a beginners class at the National Wool Museum, right here in Geelong. I'll teach you all the basics; from Casting on, to Binding Off. You'll walk away with yarn and needles of your own, and full instructions on how to make your very own coaster for underneath your mugs.

I love teaching, my goal in these classes is to help you feel supported, and empowered with the knowledge that you CAN do the thing.

Come to my class! I'm teaching a beginner's class at the on World Wide Knit In Public Day (June 13th). All materials you need are supplied.

It's a fabulous day where you'll be encouraged, taught new skills, and will leave with the confidence to try again. I love teaching, and knitting, and I want to help you feel the sense of joy and accomplishment that I know is possible.

Hey Folks!

I'm getting ready for one of my favourite annual events - the Yarra Valley Wool and Handicrafts show!

As we've just had another show happen, in addition to my yarns, this year I'll also be bringing a whole bunch of my self published patterns for you to buy! There will be lots of squishy things for you to enjoy, and many wonderful stall holders.

Finishing a batch of yarn like this, helps me remember that I am actually pretty good at this. I love the richness and depth of colour that I can achieve, and this yarn is just beautiful.

This is overdyed Polwarth in 4ply, I sourced the yarn from Belinda at Wyndara Black Sheep, and I'm planning a small collection to bring with me to Bendigo.

Yes. These were the right colours to dye.

There are 6 skeins of each colourway (a sweater quantity). That's it. I'm bringing them with me to Adelaide. They are all 100% non super wash, 8ply Australian Merino.

These are beautiful, tonal blues and greens that all work beautifully together.
