So this truely is a coincidence, walking the beautiful streets of Interlaken, Switzerland, I came across yet another “Hat shop “ owned by milliner , unfortunately it was closed so I wasn’t able to go in and introduce myself! 😞

Enjoyed making this cream felt pillbox for Jodi , sponsor for the Millinery section at this years
Before continuing the process a sample of the felt was posted to see if cream matched the colour of her outfit… and it did!

The brief was a pillbox in cream felt, a touch of silver and a few feathers.

Always enjoy working with my clients bringing their vision to life.

A hat shop …. Hutmacherei (Hatmaker)
It was such a pleasure meeting the owner Caroline Felber , I was in awe of her shop and her hat-block collection .
So lovely talking all things hat related.
The World hat walk is taking place in Lucerne on the 10th May, sadly I miss out by one day.
Caroline also recommended I visit whilst I’m in Tuscany , don’t mind if I do 😜

What a beautiful morning we had with my elderly parents taking them to see the exhibition “Hats under the Dome” at the Geelong Library for Geelong fashion fortnight.
They just absolutely loved it! 👒👒👒
From there we went to the top of the Dome to look over Geelong (our home town )
Then across the road to Geelong Performing art centre for a little tour.
Everywhere we went was wheelchair accessible…so easy to get around 😍
A little lunch before home.. no doubt to rest!
Ps my dad was in awe of your hat! 🎩
