Last week we were so fortunate to witness Lee aka Felt Girl and Jacqui meet for the first time and share their passion for young people ❤️

Jacqui from 29Metals heard about Dress Up Geraldton and wanted to contribute, so Golden Grove is now collecting donations across their site 🙏🏻 We are extremely grateful for Jacqui and her teams support and we could not do this without the immense community support we have recieved, and as you can see by the racks, it has been amazingly overwhelming ✨️

🌟 Meet Lee Nelson – The Heart Behind DressUp Geraldton 🌟

We're excited to introduce Lee Nelson, the inspiring founder of DressUp Geraldton! Lee is a Geraldton local with a passion for supporting youth in need within our community. Inspired by Tammy from Formally Ever After Qld Inc. in Queensland, Lee established DressUp Geraldton to provide FREE formal wear to young people aged 13-25 in the MidWest region of WA, with a no-questions-asked policy.

Lee also runs Felt Girl, a fashion brand using felt art and recycled materials, and started the local Youth Markets program, giving young entrepreneurs a platform to shine.

🌟 A Heartfelt Thank You to Tammy Robinson 🌟

We want to express our deepest gratitude to Tammy Robinson, the inspiring force behind Formally Ever After. Tammy has been a huge support in the start-up of DressUp Geraldton, sharing her wisdom and encouraging Lee Nelson every step of the way.

Tammy, a Logan-based mum and aged care worker, dedicates her nights and weekends to helping Year 12 students celebrate their formals with glamorous clothes and accessories, all at zero cost. Since 2019, she has touched the lives of thousands of students.

Thank you, Tammy, for being a real-life fairy godmother and inspiring us to bring this project to the youth of Geraldton! 💖

We are excited to announce the launch of DressUp Geraldton, a new service dedicated to providing free formal wear to young people aged 13-25 in the MidWest region of Western Australia, including Dongara, Mullewa, and Northampton.

Our mission is to ensure every young person feels confident and beautiful at their special events. With a no-questions-asked policy, we welcome everyone who needs our service.
