Geranium Op Shop We offer great quality clothing, household goods and hidden treasures! A cheerful & welcoming space for all!

Money raised, supports the Geranium Community Hub, Centacare & Zahra Foundation- people impacted by domestic violence. Geranium Op Shop is located in the old Geranium Primary School building. In 2022, sadly the school closed but the good news is: the Education Department gifted- yes GIFTED the entire school to the Geranium Community Hub. This has enabled me to "put wings on my dream" of running an

op shop. The Op Shop is a safe and cheerful space for locals wanting to connect with each other and also a great little drop in spot for travellers on the Highway. The op shop will help to sustain our great little community here at Geranium. Another exciting development is that there will be a super cool cafe opening next to the op shop so that you can have a cuppa and great food whilst exploring the op shop.

Last week Coomandook Area School had their “100 year old dress up day” so.. Maddy came on down to the Geranium Op shop to fossick for “100 year old clothes”.

The time travel wardrobe proved to be just the thing- hand bags, shawls and all sorts.

According to the 2021 Census, the population of Geranium was 83.
Well- today in 2026, we had a 15% increase in our population because a group of travellers from Seacliff Uniting Church made the trip via bus, to visit Geranium.

A big thank you to Meredith and Anne from the Geranium Hub for catering on the day. The food was amazing!
The group enjoyed fossicking in the op shop, while some opted for a tour of our town and others looked over the BnB “Geranium Cottage”.
More food, conversation, stories and cuppas before heading back to the Mallee Highway to jump
back on the bus for home.

It was a cold and frosty day in Geranium today but the enthusiasm of the Seacliff folk brought warmth and cheer to all of us.

But essentially, I feel so grateful for how the Geranium Op Shop has become so much more than a shop! 🙃
