Happy world breastfeeding week 💞

To all those mum’s whether you breastfeeded for a long time or tried it once and it didn’t work for you and bub or you just didn’t enjoy it. If your just starting out the only thing I’d recommend is try to stay calm and try not to let it all get to you. You are all doing amazing!

I’m very proud that I got to feed Brody up until he was almost 3 years old. We had a very tough and stressful time getting started on both our parts. Sometime I don’t know who was crying more 😅 I felt like giving up multiple times. I would freak out when I’d express and get less than usual but we got through it all and then it was smooth sailing. The hard part was trying to stop 😅

To all the mum’s that bottle feed your bubs, you are also doing amazing!! 💞

This is so true!!

Before I had Brody I never really thought about being in a mum’s group too much and assumed they were just some play dates for the kids for a few months or so. Well wasn’t I wrong. I am so grateful to have met my girls and the friendships we’ve all created. We were all first time mum’s and all definitely needed the support and to be able to ask questions without feeling judged. Our babies are all over 3 now and we still chat on our group chat most days and catch up for play dates or girls dinner and drinks when we can. I can’t even remember my life without them all. Love you all and Julia (you need to get an Instagram already! 😂)

The one thing I’d recommend to any new mum is to find a mum’s group! It may be a little hard with covid but even if you can’t catch up now you can at least have people in similar situations to chat to online and still be able to create friendships.
