A few weeks ago, I received the sweetest call from Dom he wanted to create a top secret dress for his girlfriend to wear while he proposed ✨

He came in with a clear vision, having already chosen the style, and together we selected the most beautiful silk satin to bring that soft, whimsical look to life.

From first idea to final stitch, everything came together seamlessly… and the best part? She said yes 🤍

Congratulations Dom and your beautiful fiancée Honey. I feel so honoured to have played a small part in such a special moment.

I’ve been a couture dressmaker for over 30 years, and I create every piece myself, from design and pattern making through to construction and hand sewing.

Showing more of myself doesn’t come easily for me, but I wanted to say hello and share the person behind the work I love so much.

I got a call from Jazz, a music composer who writes music for some of our favorite Australian TV shows. She needed a gold dress to wear to the Screen Music Awards, and making it was an absolute blast—that touch of sparkle really lit up the night. I think even David Wenham would agree!
