Parents are capable, intelligent decision-makers, and we believe they deserve access to clear information about the materials their babies eat from every day.

Thatā€™s why we talk openly about LFGB testing, silicone quality, migration testing and the standards we choose to meet. Not because every other product is automatically unsafe, but because not all materials, manufacturing processes or testing standards are the same.

Promoting a higher standard isnā€™t an attack on other businesses, and it isnā€™t fear-mongering. Itā€™s simply explaining why we made the choices we did.

Weā€™re never going to tell parents what they have to buy. But we will keep giving them the information they need to make an informed choice for their own family.

Meanwhile, Iā€™m over here fighting for my life trying to get ours off the bench šŸ˜‚

Our ceramic suction plates use a high-quality silicone suction base that creates a seriously strong seal on clean, smooth, non-porous surfaces. Once itā€™s down, you genuinely canā€™t just lift it up.

I usually have to slide a knife carefully underneath the edge of the suction to break the seal first šŸ˜…

Because a suction plate is only helpful if the suction actuallyā€¦ suctions.

Not literally, obviously but once you start learning more about what our food comes into contact with, itā€™s hard to unsee it.

So we swapped the plastic for stainless steel, ceramic + LFGB-grade siliconeā€¦ and never looked back. šŸŒæ
