I haven’t had the heart to post this but it needs to be said. In a couple of weeks NSW gov is going to close the park and ariel cull our brumby’s. Chase them to their deaths, riddle them with bullets, no clean kills, just unimaginable suffering.
They finally released the count numbers and apparently numbers have gone from 1500 to 4000 in 2024 to approximately 16 000. Hmmm even someone like me who failed biology can tell that is not biologically possible. They say numbers have increased by 300% in one year. WTF. So mares foaled triplets? Did stallions suddenly grow a uterus and give birth? You tell me.
Now Sharpe, minister for murder, has been suspended yet again! Did you also know that Jack Gough’s wife is one of her advisors, total conflict of interest. Jack Gough, head of invasive species, apparently so educated, is sprouting these numbers, lies, propaganda. Honestly, I don’t get it. If we did this, we would be called out. The media shared his face on their channels but nothing from advocates. We are being censored, ignored, the media are clearly for sale these days.
If you are feeling powerless, then think about this, social media matters, it can be powerful. Use it! Go onto Penny Sharpe and Chris Minns page, comment, lots of comments! Share any brumby information you can, don’t think that all your fb friends know about this, they don’t. Share this, share everything you see to your fb and insta pages, comment on the brumby advocate pages, the minions cant delete those. So far, I have been blocked and banned, by Chris Minns page, so worth it! But I will still find ways to call this out.
