MYTH! There's no such thing as a safe tan. If skin darkens, it is a sign of skin cells in trauma, even if there is no redness or peeling.

Skin darkens as a way of trying to protect itself because the UV rays are damaging living cells. If you tan easily, you are still at risk of skin cancer and need to use sun protection.
As much as you love that golden glow, it’s not worth the damage that its doing to your skin. Always use sun protection!

Swimsuit - The most important item on your beach packing list! Choose one that you feel comfortable and confident in. If you’re having troubles finding one, let us know!

Cover-up - A lightweight cover-up, such as a sarong or kaftan, is great for throwing over your swimsuit when you're walking to and from the beach or grabbing lunch.

Sunscreen - Protect your skin from harmful UV rays with a broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least SPF 50. We can’t get enough of

Sunglasses - Keep your eyes protected from the sun with a pair of polarized sunglasses.

Hat - A wide-brimmed hat is not only fashionable but also protects your face and scalp from the sun.

Towel - Bring a beach towel to dry off and lay on.

Sandals or flip-flops - Easy to slip on and off and perfect for the sand and water.

Water bottle - Stay hydrated in the sun with a refillable water bottle.

Snacks - Pack some light snacks, such as fruits or granola bars, to keep you fuelled throughout the day.

Lip Balm - The last thing you want is burnt lips!
