It’s been a long time since I’ve posted here, and a lot has changed in that time.

I’ve had a bit of a reset in life, including a name change, so it felt right that the page came along with it. Sometimes life shifts in ways you don’t fully plan for and you just end up quietly rebuilding things in the background.

So here we are.

Formerly Catlin Creations, now Practically Magic Creations ✨

I chose this name because it really reflects how I’ve always worked. I’ve often been jokingly called “Mary Poppins” over the years, the person who turns up, sorts the chaos, makes things work, and somehow pulls it all together. I’ve always liked that idea of being practical and helpful but with a bit of magic sprinkled through it.

That’s what I want this space to feel like. Things that are useful, thoughtful, and made with care, but still a little bit special.

For now, I’m not taking custom orders. I’ll just be making and listing pieces as I go, when inspiration strikes and time allows. If you see something you love, it’ll be available as it pops up.

Thank you to everyone who’s stuck around here, even while things were quiet. I’m really looking forward to slowly sharing what I’ve been working on again 💛✨

Big news from here at the craft table ✨

I’ve officially changed my business name from Catlin Creations to Practically Magic Creations.

This change feels like a really natural step forward for where things are heading. I wanted a name that better reflects what I love doing… turning simple ideas into something a little bit special, a little bit unexpected, and (hopefully) a bit magical.

You’ll still see the same handmade pieces, custom creations, and all the bits I love making… just under a new name and fresh direction.
So if you’re wondering what’s next… watch this space ✨

There are lots of new ideas coming, and I can’t wait to share them with you all soon.

Been a bit quiet over here lately!

I've had a few life changing events over the last 12 months. One of them being a car accident that damaged my foot. It made sewing painful and impossible then I lost my craft mojo and went on strike for all crafts while my mental health recovered a little.

But... I've found a new little hobby that is something my daughter enjoys doing with me... making earrings!

We have a few pairs finished and ready to go and a few more spread out all over the table that we are still working on. So watch this space!!

This hasn't been an easy decision for me but circumstances have changed with my day job and I don't have any spare time for my fun job!

I will still be making up some cute things here and there and am hoping to squeeze in 2 more market stalls between now and Christmas so watch this space!
