Tell us a little bit about yourself?
I’m a mum of four amazing kids, and during the week I work in the construction industry. Western Stag is my little side hustle—one that has grown into something far bigger than I ever imagined. It’s my passion, my creative outlet, and a dream I’m building one step at a time.
Why did you start Western Stag?
I started Western Stag to show my kids that anything is possible, no matter what life throws at you. I wanted them to see that if you put your heart and soul into something, stay determined, and never give up, you really can make your dreams become a reality.
What is the story behind Western Stag?
Western Stag was created as a legacy to my dad. When he passed away, I wanted to build something that would keep the memories we shared alive.
The “Western” comes from the country music that filled our home while I was growing up and the John Wayne movies we’d watch together on Sunday afternoons. The “Stag” comes from the deer that roam our family farm. I’ve always admired their strength and the beauty of their antlers.
So, Western Stag is a little bit of him and a little bit of me—a brand built on memories, family, country life, and the values he passed on to me.
What inspires your designs?
Every design has a story. I’m inspired by the country music I grew up listening to, the classic Western movies, and my love for the Australian country. Most of all, I’m inspired by the memories of my dad and the appreciation for the land that he instilled in me from a young age.
When someone wears Western Stag, I hope they’re wearing more than just country clothing—I hope they’re wearing a story, a memory, and a connection to the country lifestyle we all love.
Where do you see Western Stag going in the future?
I want Western Stag to continue to grow slowly and steadily, just as it has so far. My main priority is to always keep the quality and originality of my products at the heart of everything I do.
More than anything, I’d love to create something that I can one day passion to my children something they can be proud of and feel connected to, just as I do.
