Congratulations to my beautiful client on being awarded Best Millinery at FOTF on the weekend, while wearing this custom-made design.

Every stitch, detail and finish was crafted by hand to create a statement piece worthy of the occasion.
Seeing bespoke millinery recognised on the competition stage is always an incredible honour, and I couldn't be more thrilled with this result.

When every detail matters… ✨

This couture headpiece was created for Brooke to perfectly coordinate with a custom-made Athena Lin gown for Wagga Gold Cup 2026 — hand dyed to achieve the exact shade, hand sewn in the studio, and finished with an intricate trim crafted from individually hand-cut, coloured & wired feathers.

A true labour of patience, precision, and artistry for the runway. 🖤

Sometimes the perfect race day look comes together in the most unexpected ways. ✨

Maria stepped onto the track at Australia’s oldest country racecourse wearing one of my millinery pieces — borrowed from a friend — and absolutely made it her own in the Fashions on the Field competition.

The result? Best Millinery and Best Couple. 🏆

Proof that great style (and great millinery) deserves more than one day in the spotlight. Congratulations Maria — you wore it beautifully.

I originally created this millinery for the horse showing arena, but it's just proven that great design never has just one moment.
Now reborn in the fashion competition arena, it’s a reminder that craftsmanship, quality, and timeless style always find another stage.
There’s something special about seeing a piece take on a new life — styled differently, worn with confidence, and celebrated all over again.
Proof that beautiful millinery never retires… it simply evolves.
