Corsetry has taken me all over the world and introduced me to many kindred spirits, and for that I am so grateful 💛

These photos featuring my 'Nadja' corset, were taken in Vienna by
and modeled by Barbara of ✨️
(🎥 Swipe for Behind-the-scenes)

This photoshoot (and my time in Vienna visiting Barbara) was so wonderful. Now that I have two young children, trips to Europe to take pretty photos with my friends is off the cards for a while. Fortunately I have a vast archive of photos that I can share with you, until I'm in a position to collaborate in more shoots like this again 😊

When I first started making corsets 22 years ago, I never imagined that these garments would become such an integral part of my life - holding my focus and passion for so long. Attending events such as the Oxford Conference of Corsetry (no longer running) introduced me to so other makers, and I found my people. When your passion is so niche, its often hard to find people near to you who share your passion.

Throwback to our first collaboration collection with 💛 Only 1 bralet remains....

Designed as the perfect piece of transitional lingerie to outerwear, this bralet is meant to be seen. The intricate lace offers an exquisite addition to a low cut neckline. The fine leavers lace is trimmed with ultra soft, plush finished elastic.

Will the last one be yours...?

Hello friends 😊 Can you see this? Please leave a comment if you can - it's been so long since I posted that I'm worried the algorithms won't show my post to anyone ❤️

It's been a while since I last posted as I've been deep in the trenches of motherhood. I haven't meant to leave it so long between posts, but I've found parenting two kids under five has been all consuming. If you have kids, how do you manage not to lose yourself in the process?

I thought I'd "restart" my account with a photo from Paris that you've never seen before.

No, I haven't been to Paris recently (I wish!) - this photo was from 2017 when I visited with some corsetry friends to see the Dior exhibition, and managed to fit in a photoshoot (which was heavily influenced by the vintage fashion photography of the 50s).

It was a dream working with Kay Morgan
(model) and Stéphane Roy (photographer) on location in such an inspiring city.

Kay is wearing "The Vanyanís Corset", Ebonique Skirt and gold Corset Busk Necklace. The black satin corset with gold lace applique was heavily inspired by the monogram of my label, hence the name.

It's nice to be back, I'll try not to disappear again ❤️

As you may have heard, after 17 years, Foundations Revealed has closed. I worked there for 8 years as a mentor and I couldn’t bear the thought of all that collective knowledge being lost. I’ve taken matters into my own hands to save what I can and I'm opening a (not-for-profit) Corset Making Library to host the corsetry archive, featuring hundreds of articles, workshops and tutorials. This is a *huge* undertaking with significant upfront costs, so if you can, please consider pre-paying for Library access (or make a donation) to help get this up and running. Visit the link in my profile to find out more, register, and support the project.

I'm sad to share that Foundations Revealed is closing. For the past 8 years I worked there as a mentor, helping people with their sewing. It was a joy and a privilege do so, and I'll miss it a lot 💔

Unfortunately, after 17 years of providing historical sewing content and community, Foundations Revealed is closing its doors. We have gone into liquidation as of 10/6/25.

The current economic situation in the US has had a significant impact on our business and, while we have tried to implement changes since new management took over at the end of 2024, due to falling membership numbers we are unable to continue to provide the content our Stitchlings deserve while covering our costs.

The website will remain live until a formal closing date is announced and all those with annual memberships can request a refund on a pro-rated basis.

If you would like to keep up with the work of our mentors, you can find them here: Vanyanís, Brooklynne Michelle Couture, Black Orchid Atelier, Woodsmoke and Words Cosplay

You loved the first post about 's wedding gown so much, so here's another post to see more of her gown ♥️

Emily Kate and Jason's wedding was a few years ago now, and it was the most magical autumn day, as you can see!

Emily Kate's gown was made out of sumptuous burgundy velvet, with custom dyed lace at the neckline. A provided support underneath the gown.
