FULL TABLES, BIG MOMENTS & PLENTY TO CELEBRATE!

Another big week at Shalom Cafe, filled with community, creativity and exciting things happening behind the scenes.

What a week it has been at Shalom Cafe!

We kicked off an incredibly busy weekend with something a little special. Our very own Norbert, one of our male residents and a leader in the Shalom offices, generously volunteered his time to join us and provide some live music. It was a fantastic way to bring our cafe to life and we loved seeing our customers enjoying the atmosphere.

Throughout the week, we have had the privilege of welcoming a wonderful variety of groups through our doors, including local church groups, the Red Hatters, school mum catch-ups and walking groups. We love being a place where people can gather, connect, enjoy good food and support the work happening through Shalom House.

Our cake ladies have also been busy in the kitchen, creating a beautiful birthday cake for a very special little girl celebrating her first birthday. We were absolutely thrilled with how this one turned out. In fact, the finished cake exceeded even our own expectations, and we couldn’t be prouder of the result.

And behind the scenes, Father’s Day preparations are well underway. We have been busy planning a very special Father’s Day edition of Testimony Tuesday, putting together an exciting raffle that will be available from next week and drawn at our special event, as well as working on something extra special for Father’s Day itself. There is plenty happening behind the scenes, and we can’t wait to share it with you!

Most importantly, we want to say a huge thank you to the public for your continued support, encouragement and belief in what we are doing. Every coffee purchased, meal enjoyed, cake ordered, group hosted and item bought helps create opportunities for transformation and growth.

From our ladies, our team and everyone at Shalom Cafe, thank you for continuing to support us. We couldn’t do what we do without you.
