Little Bambino Bear was born 10 months after the arrival of our own little Bambino (Maddie Bear). With a new baby at home, a creative mind waiting to resurface, a childhood ambition to be a fashion designer, and a grown up ambition to run my own business, I began working on some ideas. Little Bambino Bear's name was inspired by our family pet names for each other, or more specifically from my husb

ands nickname of a kids tv show bear! All our Little Bambino Bear products are handmade at home in Perth, Australia to high standards using quality materials. We strive to deliver products that we ourselves would be proud to show off in our own little bambino's nursery.

Life lately……

The last 5 weeks have looked a bit different behind the scenes.

After some unrelated tests, I was diagnosed with early stage 1 breast cancer.

It’s been a whirlwind of appointments, scans, surgery and a lot of emotions to process quietly while still trying to keep life moving normally for our family and business.

Last week I underwent a lumpectomy and sentinel lymph node removal surgery, and I’m incredibly grateful that my results have now come back clear with no spread to my lymph nodes. Such a huge relief and I’m now considered cancer free! 🤍

I still have radiotherapy and ongoing hormone treatment ahead, but thankfully everything was caught early and my prognosis is very positive.

What makes this all feel even more surreal is that just before my diagnosis, I had made the decision to really grow this little business in a big way this year. New brands, new collections, more stock, bigger plans… all things I was so excited about.

So while the last few weeks have been emotionally and physically challenging, this business has also given me something positive to focus on. I’m still here packing orders, replying to messages, sourcing beautiful products and pouring my heart into what I’m building every day.

Supporting small businesses truly means more than most people realise. Behind every order is a real family, real dreams, and sometimes real life happening quietly in the background too 🤍

Thank you for every order, message, kind word and bit of patience lately. It truly means more than you probably realise 🤍

Here’s to slower mornings, healing, and moving forward with a whole new appreciation for life.

Ok guys, I know we’ve not been showing up as much but here’s the good news. We’re not going anywhere! Life sometimes just likes to try and kick your ass, but I am here for the long haul!

I just received an Alimrose order, who we haven’t stocked for a couple of years, but I missed their gorgeous range so much that it’s back! 🎀 I’m going to upload it all this weekend, I’ve started already, but keep your eyes peeled on our stories for updates.

Here it is! Our 2016 throwback. Is that what we’re calling it? I’ve seen a few people post theirs and I had a look through my old pics and thought, wow, that was a pretty cool year for us!

There’s so much more I could have added but I’ve spent the last hour trying to collate it all I had to stop somewhere ☺️.
