Like most people, I really didn't like sewing at school, and when I got a sewing machine for my 21st birthday I had no idea why. At that point my eldest daughter was 6 months old, and it was actually cheaper to make her clothes than to buy them. Since then, I've had four more daughters, so my designing and creating keeps me sane-mostly. I’m sewing more adult sized items now, and loving the retro s

tyles. I’m certainly no photographer, but I'm working on it. Postage is available on items if required. If there’s something you'd like but you can't see. let me know, and if i can do it-i will.

Finished! I don’t know where I went wrong, but I had to hand sew the end closure. Would you believe I had to go and buy a needle, it’s been THAT long!

Now to send this one off to its home.

Spent my Sunday doing something completely different. The older children bought me a voucher so I could do a stained glass class with .glass

It was really enjoyable, relaxed, easy to understand, and I got to make my own piece to bring home. Thankyou for a fantastic day. Highly recommend!

Honestly I don't know why I do this to myself. I see a thing that I like, I find a simple pattern online, but then I think 'I'd like it better if I just changed it up a bit', and I spend AAAAGGGGGEEEESSS trying to figure out how to alter it.

THEN I work it out, make a start and realise that I didn't order the bits I need, so it now sits on hold until they arrive.

Let's hope I remember what I'm trying to do when the supplies arrive!

We recently went on a quick interstate trip which required suitcases, and of course, once again I didn’t have any tags- I never think about it until the actual time we’re packing the cases.

So when we returned I drew up a basic design, but cutting out with scissors messed with my eyes as the pieces wouldn’t live up properly, so I designed these on my scan n cut and sewed them up using the unpicked notepad holders that I’d made in the wrong size.
