Due to my beautiful husband ending up in the cardiac ward for Christmas after a heart attack yesterday, I have taken all my stock of chickens in for the staff and some of the patients. It was delightful to see their smiles and laughter. Everyone deserves to be appreciated and especially our hospital staff. Thank you for looking after my husband.

A very soft textured, dainty pair of beaded fingerless gloves, handmade, and in another beautiful wool from Blackwattle Yarns, Grenville, colour " unrestrained". A blend of 60% alpaca, 20% merino and 20% nylon. Definitely not bulky but very warm.

Ready now for Christmas presents. Suitable for young and old. Hugable, squishy, Emotional Support Chickens. I have given away to residents in aged care over 100 chickens and have seen the absolute delight these have brought to the eyes of the recipients. From $55 plus postage. Happy to custom specific colour combinations. These are in acrylic yarn for easy care. Size is slightly larger than a real chicken. I will add more photos as I complete more.
EDIT: most of these chicken containers a sachet of real lavender for a calming effect.

I've been busy knitting up some cable jumpers tis winter. My Grandaughter has been getting lots of favourable comments in her rust coloured, wool and bamboo blend. The green (guava) is in 100%, machine wash, merino magic from Heirloom. An Australian made yarn and knitted right here in Melbourne, Victoria. The chest size is 22 inch(55 cm) with sleeve 29 cm length from under arm to cuff.
