Hi everyone! We’re Aisha and Aaliyah, 11 year old identical twins from Sydney, Australia. We LOVE fashion, accessories, op shopping with our mum, having fun with our friends and living life to the fullest.
We want to share our passion for fashion and up cycling clothing and accessories, so with the help of our mum we created Twin Threads ©
Twin Threads is a sustainable, zero waste, up-cycled fashion label creating unique handmade clothes, bags and fashion accessories from recycled materials that would otherwise end up as landfill.
Did you know that the fashion industry is one of the highest polluting industries in the world? In Australia, 6000 kilograms of textiles are dumped in landfill every 10 minutes!
We want to make a difference and help reduce textile landfill. Our creations are made using left over materials and high quality second hand clothes and sheets - sourced from op shops. We even reuse the thread off cuts and material scraps to create doll and pillow stuffing, ensuring zero waste.
