Cute small desk I finished yesterday after having it almost 2 years 😆
It was stripped right back and dark waxed which I’m liking lately. It’s for sale and perfect size for a kids room.
I’m not super happy with my sanding work so only asking $80 for it. I’ve made some swirls that I didn’t notice until waxing 🤦🏼‍♀️

G’DAY! Long time no see 😊
I’m still around, a lot quieter these days but going along ok.

Thought I could show you two bedsides I did monnnnths ago, (this is Part 1) just to prove I am occasionally doing some furniture still😉

Wish these were mine.
Vintage furniture is just the best in my book. Newly made stuff is either out of my price range or so crap it doesn’t last. Or both.
I’ll always be a vintage loving girl, much to my daughters’ disappointment who both love all things modern! I like a good mix really, but can never go past a well made, unique vintage piece.

Done in iso, all three of us went down recently😬😬😬
How cool is this amazing vintage wallpaper?! The owner found a roll of it in another old piece and suggested it go on the back of the dollhouse. Perfect 🤩
And can never go past fresh white paint. Ever. 😉😃

Little upholstery completed today. Really wish I’d taken a before pic so you could see the difference 😬
It is a Laura Ashley piece so was covered in a floral fabric with darker stained legs. Would have been pretty back in the 90’s 😉
Footstools are just the best multi-use piece of furniture…side table, seat, step, bedside, pet bed, magazine holder, time out seat and the list goes on.

Desk restoration this weekend! Never ceases to amaze me how a little (lots really!) sanding can bring a piece waaaaay back to life and into this century 😉
