I have knitted, crocheted, embroidered and sewed since I was a little girl. My mother was an interior designer in London and an excellent seamstress; my two grandmothers were sewers and one taught sewing classes; my great great grandfather was a tailor in Bond Street, London in the 1800s. Welcome to my new followers, and Happy New Year to you all.

The sewing machines are finally out of their boxes 🥳. The studio is not quite how I would like it but it’s a start after two months of being boxed up whilst we moved insterstate.

In between fixing up the broken house and garden, starting the kiddies at new schools and unpacking I have managed to get a dirty patched roller blind fabric replaced, a new floral curtain made for the bathroom and my first set of thumb guards out in the post for 2024.

I am loving my second hand Horn cabinet all the way from Canberra, although I am not so sure it is keen on me with the amount of times it’s changed position 🤣, or the humidity here in tropical Ipswich 🥴

Anyway I hope to be back soon with all your sewing needs. Until then take care and don’t hesitate to get in touch 🌺

It’s been such a long time since I have posted any notices 😬. I have been sewing but juggling lots of different things so been a little busy.

It’s time to say thank you to all my Jerrabomberra, Googong, Queanbeyan and Canberra clients whom I am so grateful to for your trust in my sewing. We are getting ready to move interstate and I will miss you all. You have all given me so much confidence in what I do and I plan to continue even if it’s in a smaller scale.

I will be around for a few more weeks but will only be able to take on very small jobs as once the packing starts it won’t stop!

Thank you for your support and I hope you can support another alterations business locally.
