We’ve been told the ladies had an amazing time at the tournament with a few fish caught and Josh taking out the best Skipper award.

MD Sports again had the pleasure of supplying and sponsoring the Lipsmackers fishing team with their shirts and dresses for the 2023 Alure Ladies Fishing Classic

The team consisted of the adventuresome quartet of Lauren Croft, Flori Catling, Goergia Teakel and Jess Croft and they were captained by the very brave Adrian Croft. This year the team wore the Lipsmacker floral dresses and shirts and also the ‘Captain Chaos’ nautical dresses – both designed by Lauren. The team look marvelous in their outfits, had plenty of fun and managed to successfully land some unlucky barra.

Of Note, Hamish Croft, whom was a Sherriff in the competition, managed to catch a metery during the tournament.

MD Sports were also a platinum sponsor for the tournament this year and look forward to working with Alure Ladies Fishing Classic in the future.

Michelle de Masson and her daughter EJ (of the N.T.) recently went adventuring through the USA. On their visit to Niagara Falls they pulled out their super comfy MD Sports fishing dress and enjoyed a most memorable afternoon. They certainly stood out in the crowd.

Michelle was also kind enough to test out our new 'hoody' version shirt on her latest fishing trip to her secret spot - check out her short video.

MD Sports again teamed up with the Highland Coos fishing team to supply them their shirts for the 2023 Disney themed Alure Ladies Fishing Classic. The Highland Coos were captained by the wily Rab Sutherland and the team consisted of fishing prodigy's Amanda Haigh, Nicole Simmonds, Christine Sutherland & Beth Morrison. The team based their shirt on the Finding Nemo movie in which our designers cleverly incorporated the Highland Cow into the design. Just for the record some barramundi were landed in the boat for this year’s tournament.

MD Sports were also a platinum sponsor for the tournament this year and look forward to working with Alure Ladies Fishing Classic in the future.

NT EIGHTBALL TITLES – KATHERINE REPRESENTATIVE TEAM

MD Sports have again enjoyed working with local 8-Ball legend David Charles in designing shirts for the Katherine 8-ball team who compete each year in the Territory Titles. This year the tournament was held in Alice Springs with the Katherine 8-Ball team once again having a great tournament. Some of the more notable results that the team and individuals achieved include:

MD Sports had the pleasure of working with the Air Forces’s Sergeant Caitlin Trow by supplying committee shirts for a very special event held at the National Museum of Australia in Canberra.
Caitlin was involved in organising ‘By Techs For Techs: A Convocation for Women Technicians’ which bought together many of the Air Forces female technicians.
Of note, Caitlin was one of nine organisers who was unexpectedly awarded a group commendation from the Chief of Air Force (Robert Chipman) for their achievements and bringing great credit upon themselves and the Royal Australian Air Force.
