cade is still operated and owned in partnership with a Macarthur family member to this day. Anne Blackwood (nee Macarthur) roller-skated as a child (poorly) during the current building's construction in 1962. Her roller-skating has not improved! The Arcade is located in the centre of Katoomba in Katoomba Street near the famous Paragon Cafe and Carrington Hotel. Macarthurs Arcade contains many different dealers through out the centre so stock changes all the time. The range of items sold throughout the Arcade range from antique lead toy soldiers to 1960's Laminex tables, to vintage clothing, collectable models and everything in between. Mr Pickwick's antiquarian and general bookshop sits in the heart of the lovely Blue Mountains city of Katoomba, west of Sydney. It occupies all three levels of the former Westpac Bank building which houses some 60,000 books, as well as a huge collection of art, and many cabinets of collectibles.
