I had the pleasure of meeting the most wonderful family from Yeppoon this year, they were travelling down with the bride as she was getting her gorgeous bridal gown made at the award winning Paddington Weddings.
They kindly recommended me to make the bridesmaids and Mother’s outfits.

After choosing the prettiest floral linen for the bridesmaids from Sckafs, and the most amazing silk chiffons for Mum from Fabric Collection, we set about designing the overall look - and organising the fly in fly out fittings!

Here is the stunning result, the girls had a great vision and they look breathtaking ❤️

Here comes the bride!

How gorgeous does Nicky look on her special day 🥰

Nicky knew exactly what she wanted, a stunning soft grey lace and georgette gown to suit her beautiful figure.
We met at Fabric Collection and looked through many shades until we found the exact colour.
Vanessa suggested a silver to go underneath and it really gave depth to the layers.
Such a happy and stunning bride and groom❤️

The diversity of formal gown styles and colours has been mind blowing this year, so wonderful to see 😄

Here is beautiful Grace in her gorgeous strapless gown.
After much deliberation she chose this fabulous floral lace for the bodice and the most amazing blue delustered satin for the skirt, all from Fabric Collection.

A simple and elegant design stepped up a level with amazing fabrics! ❤️

Finally the end of year formals are happening😄🎉💕
After a long wait I can finally share these happy moments with you.

Alexia wanted a regal and elegant style for her formal gown. We met at Fabric Collection and chose a beautiful navy duchess satin and corded lace that worked magnificently in the design.
She looks absolutely stunning and her hair and makeup just add to the WOW factor!❤️

So many of my beautiful brides have had to postpone their weddings, it’s been a very emotional year.

One amazing couple eventually decided to have their intimate 5 person ceremony on their planned day. Being from out of town we had a 3 day turnover for the gown!

I’d met the bride’s friend at Fabric Collection a few months earlier and after much deliberation a beautiful embroidered floral was chosen. We had already discussed the style so now we all waited for the big weekend.

Fri first fitting, Sat second fitting, Sun pick up and wedding on Mon!

Nicoleorlowskiphotography produced such amazing pictures and really captured our gorgeous couple, the beautiful gown and the amazing landscape.

We’ve heard some happy news about school formals rescheduling after July 😊

Beautiful Hannah was lucky to have attended her formal before the lockdown and WOW here are the photos!

Hannah saw this pantsuit and knew it was exactly what she wanted. Perfect for her athletic physique, elegance and style - she looks absolutely radiant.

Sckafs Fabrics helped Hannah choose a lovely silver dupion silk for this amazing pantsuit.
Being a strapless outfit I built a corseted bodice into the pantsuit, molding the silk over the top to create this stunning design.

By the way, this outfit required nearly 11m of silk!

As restrictions are being lifted there is hope for our yr 12 formals 🙏
A lucky few enjoyed their event before the lockdown and I’m so happy to finally share their moments with you.

For all lovers of tulle here is the gorgeous Louisa in her dream gown.

I layered different shades of blue and grey tulle to create the perfect colour.
We chose a silver dupion silk as the base to create contrast and depth for the tulle.

The circular skirt and ruched bodice enhanced the layers and Louisa finished the gown with soft bows on the shoulders.

Suzanne Spicer Couture is still open for business and we are following the strictest of hygiene procedures .

My full alteration service is still available too - from sewing a button on, hems, tears, to remodelling and recreating a favourite item.
You can drop it at my door and pick up the next day if required.
