Welcome to the woo family, Goldie Wendy. Woo Beanie on, an hour old. Just as mum would have dreamt 💫

She would have been bursting with pride sharing this photo. Goldie is mum’s first grandchild that she was achingly excited to meet. It breaks my heart for her & for Goldie, that unfortunately that day didn’t come.

For now, we will treasure our woo pieces and I’ll tell our little Golden Girl who knitted these for her. Her guardian angel, her beautiful, talented Mama who watches over her each day 💞

It is with the heaviest hearts that we announce our beautiful mum Wendy (the Founder of woo) passed away unexpectedly on 17th May 2022.

Whilst I take a short break from online orders and ponder the direction of the business, I will continue to share the beautiful imagery of your little loves in woo.

Mum and I would brainstorm for hours where this little business would take her and we had plans in place for some exciting new avenues. She was still completing orders and hand trimming pom poms from hospital!

Whilst mum may not be here to knit with her own hands, she had a wonderful local team that occasionally helped her when orders were busy.

With your continued support, I hope to circle back in with some exciting plans. Of course keeping on with mums legacy creating pieces to treasure. Hopefully I can learn some patterns along the way.

From the bottom my heart - THANK YOU. Woo was truly was mum’s passion and it ignited a fire in her to create for you all. From the moment she woke up to the moment she went to bed she was knitting (and I’m sure dreaming about knitting in between!) Mum would knit and unpick until every order was perfect.

She was so blown away by the support online and at our local markets and would get such a thrill every time someone shared photos with us.
