I am so excited to announce that I was the Overall Professional Winner at last night's ReFashion competition, hosted by the ReDress Hub. I also got the People's Choice award and felt honoured by the recognition. I thrift flipped a vintage 80s prom dress into this cocktail dress and matching bag. I used almost every part of the original dress as I even patchworked the lining together.
I am so grateful to Kirsty for running the competition and a great initiative such as the ReDress Hub for people to learn how to upcycle and reuse clothing they already have. Shout out to Terri who is such a lovely supporter of mine and I loved getting to see what she created too.
Can't wait to go op shopping with my City Mission voucher to get more pieces to upcycle!
