It's not every day Santa visits your store to order a new pair of boots. Rod, Gus, & Faysal were tasked with making a lightweight pair of boots for Santa. This Santa pictured is wearing a cotton breathable Santa suit designed for the Australian Climate. We are making a lightweight pair of boots with a buckle and faux fur trim that breathe and are comfortable to wear for the Christmas Season.

Sometimes shoes reach the end and there is no point repairing them or shoes get damaged and are no use to Thrift shops. We are sending this box to Australia's leading Textile Recycler in Victoria. The soles of these shoes will be to make the soft, rubbery flooring used in playgrounds, the uppers are used to make UPtex.

We were saddened to learn today about Simpson's Shoes closing after being a part of the Newcastle Community for over 90 years. We wish the family well.

Simpson Shoes was established more than 90 years ago. But after three generations, Craig Simpson has closed its doors. He sees no future in independent retail, saying online shopping has taken over.

we see a lot of shoes chewed by pooches. This client brought in a gorgeous Mary Jane style. We were unable to keep the toe in. Gus, our expert repairer was able to trim the toe line and created a peep toe. Not a bad outcome.
