Tomorrow the Love Local Makers Market returns to Springwood, featuring talented local Blue Mountains makers. Entry is free, and the weather is shaping up to be sunny and warm, so come and browse, support a local maker, and enjoy coffee and a treat after. I’ll be there with all my Pon Pon goodies, so make sure to stop by and say hi!

If that’s not enough, there’s also the annual Hubbub celebration with exhibitions, live performances, book week parade and more!

What a fabulous sunny day at the Markets on Saturday!

A big thank you to the Blue Mountains Theatre and Community Hub for organising such a great event, and to everyone who came along to support Blue Mountains makers.

It was such a joy meeting everyone, including my fellow stallholders. An extra special thank you to everyone who picked up a pair of earrings for themselves or as a thoughtful gift for someone else. It means the world ♥️

Also, Some new designs made their debut - coming to the website very soon!

I've been busy creating a collection of 10 greeting cards, designed to pair perfectly with our earrings.

All are inspired by colour, shape and geometry, and even include some textures and patterns resulting from my recent explorations into gel printing 😊

Along with our earring range, the cards will be available at the Love Local Makers Market in Springwood NSW, next Saturday 9th May, 8:30am - 1pm.

Bringing the Mid-Century Muses earrings to life takes time and care.

Each piece begins as a sketch, is refined digitally, then laser cut and etched from wood.

I hand-paint every earring with two coats of ultra-matte black paint and finish with a matte varnish.

It’s a process that takes several days — so each pair is made slowly, with intention.
