This pattern had been on my bucket list for the last few years. I took a bit of me time last week and finally decided to make this. If you zoom in you will see nearly every seam is matched up perfectly. Im really pleased with how this turned out and how I used solids from my stash.

-for the non quilters- this top will get squared up and all the sides will be straight when I prep it for quilting. For now it will go in my to be quilted tub😅

My Beneath The Northern Lights quilt got a highly commended award this weekend at the , and I am pretty thrilled. This pattern is beyond stunning. I remember when it was previewed by the amazingly talented that I had to have it. I bought the pattern within 24hrs of its release and started it right away. This quilt really makes me miss home.

Ive made about 15 of these cuties for teacher gifts the last few months. Im realising while typing this out, there are 2 more teachers that I want to make whales for before school starts 😅. 95% of the materials for these have been op shopped, with the zips from . These have been such a great way to repurpose jeans and has me thinking of what i can do with the odds and ends that are left.
