Sadly the time has come to officially acknowledge the closing and the end of GARAGE 29 🏁😞🏁

A few events late last year got the better of me and cost me greatly... financially, physically, mentally, emotionally, and so on... Sadly the toll this had on my mind, body and spirit is something I haven't come back from.

Unfortunately after a year of burying my head in the sand and hoping I could still be a part of some smaller events and special occasions, the reality is, this is just not feasible and it's time to let it all go...

The cost involved with running a part time business is way to extreme to uphold for my few small community events I wanted to still be involved with, so I have been in denial and holding out for quite some time, but sadly the time has come to accept that it was good while it lasted, but now just a memory ❤️

I cannot thank my amazing friends, family and community enough, those who supported me and let me live out my little dream. And to the beautiful customers who became friends and supported me wherever I was popping up, I am forever grateful...

To those that donated memorabilia or had items on display, please reach out if you want items returned, or they will still be treasured in my personal collection and really cool shed I have !!! Or until such time as I find appropriate places to share the love and donate forwards again... many other items are also for sale with the coffee van to be listed soon too ( so if you know anyone interested, please reach out ASAP)

Again this is just my THANKS and official FAREWELL to my supporters, followers and friends that had been a part of the journey, the fun and the excitement over these last 4 years...

A small informal gathering and last round of coffees may happen in time, so stay tuned if you're interested, but otherwise I hope you all find amazing coffees elsewhere and I wish you well... 🏁☕️🏁

What an absolutely amazing total the Macclesfield Young At Heart Club have raised this year for their AUSTRALIAS BIGGEST MORNING TEA 🫖☕️🍰🍪🥧 It is always an honour to be a part of this event and such a beautiful gathering for our wonderful supportive, giving, caring community 💙 WELL DONE 👏

THIS WEDNESDAY 14th MAY - event 9.30 - 12 Garage 29 will be serving barista coffees / teas / chai's or iced drinks as a part of the Macclesfield Young At Heart Club AUSTRALIAS BIGGEST MORNING TEA EVENT, held at the Macclefield Institute (Venables st)
( ***complimentary / donation teas and coffees also available inside as part of the event )

We have been involved in this event for many years, and once again honoured to donate our time and profits from the day to the event, raising funds for Cancer Council Australia.

We call on any of our supporters and followers to come by on the day and grab a coffee on your way past or while doing the school drop off etc... we will be set up by 8.30am to get the coffee flowing for those that can't attend the event, but still wish to contribute ☕️

Things have been very quite for Garage 29 as I took some much needed time out and away from the business and events for a break...

As the new football & Netball season approaches, it is with great sadness that we unfortunately can't commit to being at all the Strathalbyn Football Club & Strathalbyn Netball Club home games this year. The club has a replacement coffee van sorted, and we will pop up on one or two dates that they couldn't cover...

So that being said, we are going to be there this Saturday 5/4/25 for the opening round !!

Our first event in a few months, so hopefully we'll remember how it's done !!

All our amazing coffees, chais, hot chocs and more, along with the iced drinks and cookies and muffins

Garage 29 is honoured to support Eastern Fleurieu Racing Community Pedal Prix Team as they head to Mount Gambier this weekend for round 1 of the new pedal prix season... Give them a big thumbs up and say hi if you see them out and about. We have worked on a few events together and have supported each other over the years, so it was great to give these guys something back and support our local young members of our community ♡

Garage 29 will be attending this event with coffees, hot chocs, chais, or our special iced drinks available before the information session begins... (6.30-7.30pm)

Sadly, cancer affects us all at some stage in our lives, being personally or to those closest to us... This information session is being provided to the public and open to anyone wishing to attend.

Held at MOUNT BARKER HIGH SCHOOL HALL, please come early for the BBQ and a beverage and support the ROTARY CLUB and CANCER COUNCIL SA...

Garage 29 would like to share some special images captured at yesterday's Remembrance Day service, held by Macclesfield RSL Sub-Branch at the amazing Macclesfield ANZAC Memorial Garden .

This is truely wonderful and sentimental space that is open to the public and a must visit if you haven't been before; or even if you have, it is ever changing and growing and a very touching and beautiful space to pay tribute to all those who have given their service to our country - men, women, and animals included...

We strongly support our local RSL and our community, so we're honoured to share these special spaces and places with you all... if you ever get a chance to see our RSL, it also hosts some very amazing and significant memorabilia, and well worth a visit.

Reach out if we can assist you to co-ordinate a visit, club cruise, or luncheon to take in these spaces...

What an amazing day for us joining the Australian Muscle Car Club of SA for their 20 yr anniversary luncheon at Birdwood Motor Museum.

And I must say - OMG, they know how to put on a spread... cannot believe the quality of food and service they provide for their members... well done guys, it was an absolute honour to be there amongst you all and serve our coffes, teas, chais, hot chocs etc, and since the weather was perfect, we did almost as many iced Coffees as hot ones today !!!

The quality of cars must also be commended... I certainly was in my element there, hearing them all rumble in and admiring them glistening away in the sunshine... only managed a real quick run around and some quick snaps, just to share with you all...
