Meet the faces behind Hour Safety Solutions 👷🏻‍♂️⛑️

Hailing from New Zealand and now based in Mackay, Queensland, brothers Bernie and Will have spent years working in the underground mining industry, with Will also bringing hands-on experience from the forestry sector. They know firsthand that when it comes to safety on the job, the gear you wear can make all the difference.

After the devastating loss of a friend and workmate in an underground mining accident, the idea for Hour Safety Solutions was born. The mission was simple: provide workers with access to premium safety products that offer the highest level of protection when it matters most.

Since launching in 2022, the journey has been one of patience and persistence, particularly while waiting for Australian and New Zealand Standards (ASNZ) approval for the revolutionary PROTOS® Integral Industry Helmet… and now, that wait is over.

Today, Hour Safety Solutions is proud to be an approved supplier of industry-leading PROTOS® safety helmets and Pfanner® protective workwear, supplying workers and businesses across mining, arboriculture, forestry, agriculture and trade industries.

Because Will and Bernie know that at the end of every shift, the right PPE isn’t just about compliance — it’s about coming home safe.
