Today when I was cutting out some more shirts, I really started to focus on how beautiful this May Gibbs fabric is and the detail in her work.

So…..😊 the frog on the end of the boat; the Kookaburra with his wing around the little gumnut babies; the gumnut baby kissing the baby possum on the forehead and the beautiful Rosella.

For children who love animals, this would be great 🧡 lots of colours and different Australian animals. May Gibbs was an absolute inspiration for the period in time which she lived.

She lived until she was 92 years old, Snugglepot and Cuddlepie was published in 1918 and she was the author and illustrator of this much loved Australian classic children’s book. 💛

Where all the magic happens for me 🧡 my sewing room is so tiny and very crammed full of everything but I do love it, everything is at my fingertips.

Today I spent the day sewing and organising as I didn’t have cleaning today due to the rain. But I will be back in the ute tomorrow 😊

Sewing for me allows me to have a creative therapeutic outlet and making beautiful clothing for little people that is quality and will last the test of time. I have always had to have a sewing space in my life, otherwise I’m just not happy and have nowhere to release my creativity x

Well I came across this fabric the other day and it is just so precious! I love it to say the least and it really typifies what Easter in Australia can be like, don't you think? I was thinking some nice little boys' button up shirts - thoughts? 100% cotton, so cool to wear 😀 and not only because it represents Australia's favourite pastime - camping!!
If you are interested in ordering a shirt, please let me know as I have ordered only a small amount to start with.
The shirt will be collared with a collar stand, short sleeves and a pocket. Great to wear as a casual item (unbuttoned) over a t-shirt or buttoned and dressed up, to go out 💙 I am able to order more of this fabric if some of you love it as much as I do, please message me.

I also have something special from this range for little girls but this will be revealed in the coming days 💛🧡 I hope that you have had a beautiful day, it is raining here (hmm, that is surprising!) My thoughts are with those who may be flooded, not nice and I have been there, sending love to you xx

It is hard to find nice boys clothing, isn’t it? 😞 however I have just been given the opportunity to make some dress shirts for little boys for in 🎄I am in love with these, they are cool, dressy and comfortable. This pattern from is becoming a permanent made to order item for 🥰 I don’t think you can go wrong with a nice cool, collared, cotton shirt (ha ha say that one quickly) 😂 just for you 💙 x
