Nearly twenty years ago, my wife, Claire and I opened our own McKenna’s shoe shop in the location that it’s in today. Claire does the crucial behind-the-scenes book work and I am the buyer and fitting expert. McKenna’s sells men’s, women’s and children’s shoes and stocks quality brands such as Ara, Rieker, Rockport, Merrell and Ecco to name a few. We stock an excellent range of school shoes all ye
ar,not just at the peak back-to-school time of January. Many clients also come to us for our excellent range of smart, light-weight and comfortable shoes that are perfect for travelling. My team of three takes great pride in providing a properly fitting shoe.

We have built a great rapport with families by fitting shoes for children throughout their school years. We then go on to sell fashion and comfort shoes to these young adults in their post-school days and
look forward to continuing with our service as they enter every stage of life, ultimately returning with
their own children for their first school shoe fitting. There is always going to be competition from enclosed shopping centres but we try and offset this
by using our specialist buying knowledge and experience to offer a range of shoes that will please most of our clients. There is ample parking and excellent
access to public transport. Malvern offers a range of quality niche businesses, indeed many
people will travel quite a distance to come and be pampered by the goods and services that our
businesses offer. It’s a lovely environment in which to come and work every day.”
