Hi All
I just had a call from a gentleman from the council and all sorted.
He did say is was amazed at the amount of emails and message he has received.
Thank you everyone for your messages comments and acknowledgement of the situation we were in.
All good now deal has been done .
Gazebo is going up tomorrow.

I can't believe the Mandurah Council. They are out of control. We have a market style Gazebo out the front of the store. It gives shade and it shows that we are actually open. It protects the sale racks out the front. We have had the gazebo out the front for about 10years, no problem with the council its allowed. It does not obstruct the footpath no problem, Most of the shops and cafes on Mandurah tce have something out the front as there is plenty of room. It adds atmosphere to the area.
Anyway the council turn up yesterday and completely out of the blue issue us with a notice to remove it. Why I ask? Its not safe I'm told. Really its the same 3x3 gazebo that what is used in the markets and all of crab feast and heaps of other events. Unbelievable.
