Since the beginning, our intention as a brand has been to work alongside skilled hands and with people who are committed to sustaining ethical craft.

When we first travelled to Sittilingi to meet the Porgai artisans, the deep passion and trust with which the founders of Porgai believed in their people and their skills resonated with us.

Their craft, rich in beauty, skill and heritage, also holds a deeper meaning; to sustain, develop and honour the hands that make it.

These are the values we aim to foster with Nüwa Mano. To create pieces on a basis of beauty, quality and depth.

Leon is a local legend; a prolific artist full of wonder, quirks, and brilliance. His home and gardens are a reflection of his wonderful way of being.

Lovingly established, collected, and curated over more than 30 years, this home has been shared with his family, their dog Yoda, and the wider community; as the highlight of Open Studio in Margaret River every year.
