This beauty is off to Hawkesbury Race Club Lander Toyota Ladies Day.

I can't explain to you how soft this feather covered bandeau is. Tiny saddle feathers en masse create a luxurious, soft feel that just makes you want to touch it over & over.
This gorgeous dusty pink bandeau is complete with matching diamante veil.

Many hours in this one which included trimming, sorting, shaping and attaching over 1000 feathers.

Nature sent me a millinery gift today.
A beautiful rainbow lorikeet that died when it fell out of the tree at work.
Real, whole wings are not to everyone's taste but to me they are beautiful.
The wings have been prepared & mounted on cardboard & are now in the preserving stage. I will leave them for a few months & check back when well preserved.
