Thank You everyone who popped into the shop on Monday to say goodbye to Foothills from this shop - Foothills will continue to run Foothills Community Op-Shop, Tecoma

The doors are now closed, and we're very excited for the new management who will open around Mid August.

We will share a link on this page when they let us know of their own Social Media links, so you can follow them and learn more about who they are and hear about their sales!

If you'd like to add a message for our volunteers, please feel free to do so here - we want to acknowledge their generosity of time and spirit at the shop, we couldn't have run it without them.

Hi Everyone,

Tomorrow is the final day Foothills Community Care - Community Meals operating the Mountain Gate Community op-shop!

We hope to see you in the store!

We'll be having snacks and cups of tea in the shop all day. You're very welcome to drop in any time however we'll have the formal acknowledgement at 10:30am.

We'll have some special prices too!

We're looking forward to connecting with customers and volunteers and celebrating three wonderful years of Foothills in the store.

The store will be closed from Tuesday and will open again in a few weeks under new management.

Keep a look out for the new operators - The Orchard Church of Christ - as they open the doors in August. We hope you welcome them as well as you welcomed us.

We've been working hard behind the scenes over the past few months and can now announce, Shop 51 will continue under new management. There will be more details to follow, but before that - we'd love to celebrate the last 3 years with those who have supported us and made a real difference to locals needing some extra support.

📣 Hey friends — Foothills Community Care will be moving on from operating the Mountain Gate Op-Shop on July 31.

We’ve loved being part of this space — thanks for all the love over the last 3 years! 💛

We'd love to see this little shop continue to be a place of welcome and bargains for the local community. Know a group keen to take it on? Get in touch: [email protected]

In the meantime, in the lead up to July 31st we’ll be holding some great sales and inviting you in for a cuppa and a chat with our wonderful volunteers.

Pop in, grab a bargain, and help us celebrate this beautiful little shop and the community that’s grown around it 💛

Autumn is well and truly here. Beautiful weather for floaty scarves and puffer vests.

Today our wonderful volunteer Michelle dressed our mannequin in a perfect autumn outfit. You can see how stylish she is in the window. Michelle also untangled our pile of coat hangers. Thanks Michelle!

Alice and Drew from Foothills Community Care - Community Meals were on Eastern Radio 98.1 this morning https://www.radioeasternfm.com.au/.

They were talking about the wonderful community impact the Foothills Op-shops have (Mountain Gate and Foothills Community Op-Shop, Tecoma).

Our op-shops provide funding to support 45,000 free meals to our local community, a place for connection and ways to volunteer.

A huge thank you to our amazing volunteers for being the beating heart of our stores, our lovely customers and all your generous donations.
