When I say I suck at tutorials, I mean I SUCK at tutorials. Anyhoo! I hope this helps at least one of you out there. Let me know if you have any questions. 😊😊

✨ Floss cards from link in bio ✨

When working with floss drops or cards, I like to unwind the entire skein, fold in half four times, then snip the side with the loose ends. Each length is approximately 1m, and I generally work with two strands, so I fold that length in half which makes it perfect for loop starts. ❤️

😂😂 this sound did numbers years ago. I’m late to the game, as always. Perks of crafting/reading over scrolling, I guess.

This is the first “big” project I’m doing with variegated floss. I’ve done some research and gotten tips:

• if using 2 strands, use 2 individual strands, not folded or looped so the colours stay consistent.
• try to cut threads at the same colour point, again for consistency.
• stitch using the “English method” - full x before moving onto the next.

If anyone has any other tips, please let me know. I’m going to be here for a while with this project.

Also, I don’t know if I’m loving the way it’s turning out but I’m trusting the process. 😂😂

Bobbin link in bio.
